sorry it's been a while

sorry it's been a while. the paperun ... well... two drivers got the sack and so i hav been filling in 7 days a week and on saturdays i have been doing two runs and sundays two runs. the money is nice but the car doesn't like it and i got exhausted. finally had last friday off and it looks like another driver is going .. i got a bit of a promotion i am going to be doing the wrapping of the papers on a monday morning. the idea in long term is for me to do sunday , monday, tuesday , wednesday and have thrusday friday saturday ,,,yeah that sounds pretty good to me.

bridget broke her arm at tae kwondo and anthony has been doing scout camps left right and centre to qualify for the jamboree which is about thirty minutes drive from where mum and dad live so they want him to stay there after the jamboree.. we won't see him until late january..

i have been getting stuck into my water colours and i also made a quilt from cecily barkers faeries which i trully love

I went to the beading and quilting show today wow those quilters are an amazing bunch.
would have been really nice to go with someone but it was also nice to spend the day by myself.
bought heaps of beads for rosary beads. and some shirley barbers fairy material. to make pull string bags . couple of people i know on atcsforall.com are a bit down so I have made something small to cheer them up.

Discovered that there's a quilting show in the city this weekend so I have decided that I am going to go into Melbourne on my own. for the day. should be good I love quilts I want to learn how to do them one day. probably not until the kids have left home but I will learn one day.

hi everyone

had a really busy couple of weeks but I am only working one day this week , so I have a chance to catch my breath. Bridget and I went to Chadstone shoping centre yesterday and had a lovely day. I got some more lush soap and some facial scrub which I find leaves my skin feeling sooo soft , I ususally get really dry skin after washing it so usually i don't bother with any product. but this stuff angels on the skin (or something) it just really great and I also bought a drink bottle from smiggles and two romance novels and two papercraft mags. got a jumper and looked at some togs too(swimmers, bathers, cossies)had a really good day. oh yeah on the way home I popped into spotlight and got polymer clay( bright yellow ) to make buttons for my crocheted cardnigan I am making. and I also made a mushroom button which is huge but hey I just call it huge & not perfect.

hi everyone,
I have had a busy week. $90 million in the shop and then people coming in to check their tickets and then their payouts. todya we had a blackout in pakenham and thus the tatts counter easied off and the sales still were up but when the power went back on it was on for young and old. but this kind of thing keeps one on ones toes.
i got a victorian craft mag on sunday and have made two things out of it . I got the dottie dolls fever lasts year but in the mag they had soul divas basically the same but by a textile artist named sarah lawerence her website www.craftynotions.com lovely stuff. they also have a marvel caped that is crocheted so when I have finished the cardigan i am crochet for my self at this point(lol) it's nice to pick up my crocheting hooks again. i crochet a baby sling for harvesting vegies it's turned out pretty good holds quite a bit. I made it because in the summer when I am out in the garden and I see vegies that I need to harvest I can just pick them and not go in side and have one of the kids distract me or me distract myself with other things soo I went to spot light and got a pattern book (on special of course! lol) and some very bright multicoloured wool. well i don't know what happened but I bought 6 balls of wools toooo many so I thought I might as well do some thing else because Icrochet while i watch tv so that's it from me.

long time no see

hi everyone,
hubby is still at home and I am working about 20 hours a week at the newsagency. this week we had a $50 million lottery draw which jackpotted to $90 million next tuesday. so closing at the shop was amazing. people were lined up down the street 30 minutes before close and victoria and I stood there for 3 hours straight serving one customer after another they just kept on coming.
I have tried pouring resin again but am at a loss as to how to get it looking professional. I am also making some mobile phone/cell phone charms/dangles I want to try and sell them on etsy.

I have had an eventful week as hubby lost is job last week and the knowledge of what COULD happen makes me very nervous. but gotta believe something better is coming and I must cling to that otherwise I go down hill mentally real quick. have a great day

Ok it was a good day

It was a good day today I got actually spend some time in the garden pulling up all the pumpkin vines. I also move the chooks again and that makes it twice in a week in theory I should leave them on the same spot for two weeks but I am eager to get on with winter vegies. I have a dehydrator now and I really want to do some winter vegies.
Got offer two ducks yesterday not sure how we will get around the pups but we have to think about it some more. One thing I do know that they will keep down the snails and that will be a good thing.

Well, I finally got a day to myself and loved it ...put on my mp3 player then went out to my studio. which looks like a mad womans breakfast, but I really don't care I just need to create. I finished my muppets swap I painted gonzo, animal, and rowlf. and a personal trade of one of my cards called pixie feet. I had a big nana nap and go to weight watchers tonight , ( which I know I have put on weight but as of tomorrow I am back on track.) better go shopping and stock up.
well, got to go Anthony has an oral presentation next week and I need to go shopping for cardboard and glitter gems and stuf to make a sword.
